Press the or key to select "SENDING FUNCTION" and then press
the OK key.

Press the or key to select "# OF RINGS AUTO TX" and then
press the OK key.

Press the or key to select the call time and then press the OK
key.

Selections for the call time are "30SEC.", "45SEC.", and "60SEC.".
Auto Cover Sheet
This setting is used to have a cover sheet automatically included with each fax transmission. The initial
setting is off (no cover sheet).

Follow steps 1 through 4 of the initial procedure. (See page 143)

Press the or key to select "SENDING FUNCTION" and then press the OK key.

Press the or key to select "AUTO COVER SHEET" and then press the OK key.

Press the or key to select "YES" and then press the OK key.
Receive Functions
Number of Rings Auto Reception
This setting is used to select the number of rings the machine waits before answering in automatic
reception mode. The initial setting is 2 rings.

Follow steps 1 through 4 of the initial procedure. (See page 143)

Press the or key to select "RCV. FUNCTION" and then press the OK key.

Press the or key to select "#OF RINGS AT. RX" and then press the OK key.

Enter the number of rings (0 to 9) with the numeric keys and then press the OK key.

Any number from 0 to 9 can be entered for the number of rings.

If you entered the wrong number of rings, move the cursor to the mistake with the
keys and enter the correct number.
Note
●
If the number of rings is set to 0, the machine will receive faxes without ringing.
