Enter the time in 12-hour format with the numeric keys and then press the OK key.
●
Enter a number from 00 to 12 for the hour and a number from 00 to 59 for the minute.

Press the or key to select "AM" or "PM", and then press the OK key.

If you make a mistake in step 4 or step 5, press the keys to move the cursor to the
mistake and then enter the correct digit.
Daylight Saving Time Setting
Turn on this setting to have the internal clock automatically move forward and backward at the beginning
and end of Daylight Saving Time. The clock will move forward and backward as follows:
The first Sunday in April: 2:00 A.M. 3:00 A.M.
The last Sunday in October: 2:00 A.M. 1:00 A.M.

Follow steps 1 through 4 of the initial procedure. (See page 143)

Press the or key to select "INITIAL SETTING" and then press the
OK key.

Press the or key to select "DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME SETTING"
and then press the OK key.

The setting is turned on and a checkmark appears in the checkbox in the message
screen.
●
If this procedure is performed when the setting is turned on, the checkmark is cleared
and the setting turns off.
Sending Functions
Resolution/Contrast
This setting is used to select the default resolution and contrast setting for Fax mode. The initial setting
is Standard resolution and Auto contrast.

Follow steps 1 through 4 of the initial procedure. (See page 143)

Press the or key to select "SENDING FUNCTION" and then press the OK key.

Press the or key to select "RES. CON. SET" and then press the OK key.

Press the or key to select the default resolution setting and the
or key to select the default contrast setting. When finished,
press the OK key.
