The information shown in the "TYPE/NOTE" column of the report is as follows.
Sending Result Explanation
OK Transmission was completed successfully.
BUSY Transmission was not successful because the line was busy.
CANCEL A transmission was canceled while in progress.
P. FAIL The power was turned off or a power failure occurred.
NO RESPONSE
The other party did not answer when your machine called to attempt transmission.
NO RX POLL When your machine was polled,
(1) The polling machine did not have its own fax number programmed.
PASSCODE # E When your machine was polled,
(1) The other machine's system number did not match any of your machine's
ID numbers.
(2) Your machine's system number did not match the other machine's
system number.
(3) The other machine's fax number had not been stored as a polling
passcode in your machine.
RX TERM FAIL When confidential transmission was attempted,
(1) The receiving machine did not have a confidential function, or it was not
a Sharp machine.
(2) The receiving machine only had one confidential box and an ID code
(confidential ID code) had not been programmed.
CONF TX CNCL When a relay request transmission was attempted,
(1) The other machine did not have a relay broadcast function.
(2) The other machine was not a Sharp machine.
NO REL FUNC When a confidential transmission was attempted,
(1) There was a mistake in the confidential box number setting, or the box
number was not programmed in the other machine.
(2) Your fax number was not programmed in your machine.
REL REQ FAIL When you attempted a relay request transmission,
(1) Your fax number was not programmed in your machine.
(2) You specified an auto dial number that was not stored in the other machine.
(3) Your fax number was not stored as a relay ID code in the other machine.
ORIG ERROR When you attempted to send a fax from the SPF in direct transmission mode,
a misfeed occurred.
ERRORxx xxxx Line conditions prevented the transmission from taking place normally.
First 2 digits of line error code: Error code from 00 to 31
Last 4 digits of line error code: Code for use by service technicians.
xxx-xxx OK When group dialing, broadcast transmission, relay request transmission, or
F-code relay request transmission was performed,
xxx- : Indicates total number of transmissions.
xxx OK : Indicates completed transmissions.
NO S ADD FUNC When an F-code transmission was attempted,
(1) The other machine did not have an F-code function.
(2) An F-code was not programmed in the other machine.
S ADD TX FAIL When an F-code transmission was attempted,
(1) The sub-addresses did not match.
(2) The passcodes did not match.
(3) F-code memory polling settings were established.
SA POLL ERR When F-code memory polling was attempted,
(1) The F-code memory polling box specified by the sub-address did not exist.
(2) The sub-address specified a box other than the F-code memory polling box.
PASSCODE# ERR When F-code memory polling was attempted,
(1) The passcodes did not match.
