Page Division Scanning

PAGE DIVISION SCANNING
The left and right sides of an original can be scanned separately in succession. This function is useful
when you wish to scan the pages of an open book one page at a time in order.
●
Page division scanning can only be used when you scan the original from the platen glass.
●
The order of scanning is right (of platen glass) to left. (The left side is the first scanned page and the
right side is the second scanned page.)
●
Page division scanning can only be used on 11" x 17" and 8-1/2" x 11"R originals.
●
The duplex scanning selection is only effective for one transmission.
Selecting Page Division Scanning

In Fax mode, press the SPECIAL FUNCTION key.

Press the or key to select "DUAL PAGES" and then press the OK
key.

A checkmark appears in the page division box to indicate that it is selected.

To turn off page division scanning, press the OK key in step 2 when the function is turned on (a
checkmark appears). The checkmark is removed and the function is turned off.
