REAR WHEELS
1. Toe-in - Each rear wheel should toe-in 1/8" (3.2
mm) at the front of the wheel relative to the back.
Adjust as follows:
a) For both rear wheels, loosen locknut L at
balljoint R.
b) Rotate tie rod H to correct toe-in.
c) Tighten locknut L at both wheels.
2. Steering - The rear wheel balljoints should just
contact pin E. To adjust either side:
a) Loosen nut M.
b) Balance between the wheels by rotating
steering shaft O in its cylinder.
c) Tighten nut M.
ALTERNATOR
Alternator belt tension should deflect 0.2" (5 mm) with
a force of approximately 11 lb (5 kg) applied midway
between the crankshaft and alternator pulleys. To
adjust:
1. Loosen pivot bolt P beneath the alternator.
2. Loosen bolt Q.
3. Move the alternator to tighten or loosen belt.
4. Tighten bolt Q and then P.
