Requiring Screen Unlock Operation when
Canceling Screen Pinning
In Lock & Security menu, Screen pinning
Authentication when unpinning ( ) Tap
screen unlock option for canceling screen pinning Set
pattern/Lock No./password
・Enable Screen pinning beforehand.
・If pattern/Lock No./password is already set for unlocking
screen, Tapping Authentication when unpinning toggles
on ( )/off ( ).

Screen Lock Cautions
Observe the following when locking screen.
・Do not forget pattern, Lock No. or password set for
unlocking screen (write it down if necessary). If you
forget it, visit a nearest SoftBank Shop for recovery
procedure. Note that your files and settings are lost
during the recovery process.
・If pattern, Lock No. or password is set as screen unlock
option and corresponding action is set as requirement for
starting handset, it is necessary to draw the pattern,
enter the Lock No. or enter the password when starting
handset. In this case, after 10 and 20 consecutive failed
entry attempts, handset must be restarted for retry.
Note that handset is initialized after 30 consecutive
failed attempts.
