MAINTENANCE AFTER AIR
CONDITIONER SEASON

Operate the unit in the SELF CLEAN
operation to allow the mechanism to
thoroughly dry.

Stop the operation and unplug the unit.
Turn off the circuit breaker, if you have
one exclusively for the air conditioner.

Clean the lters, then reinstall them.

Make sure that the air lters are not dirty.

Make sure that nothing obstructs the air
inlet or outlet.

Check the outdoor mounting rack
periodically for wear and to make sure it
is rmly in place.
CHANGING THE AIR PURIFYING
FILTER
The lters should be changed every 3 ~ 6 months

Remove the air lters.

Change the air purifying lters.

Take off the old air purifying lters from the
air lters.

Set the new air purifying lters, under the
lter stoppers located on the air lters.

Reinstall the air lters.
NOTE:
• The dirty air purifying lters are not washable for
reuse. The new lters are available at your nearest
dealer.
Replacement lter: Type AZ-F900F
Disposal of Filters
Please dispose of replaced lters according to the
local disposal laws and regulations.

Be sure to disconnect the power cord from the
wall outlet or turn off the circuit breaker before
performing any maintenance.
CLEANING THE FILTERS
The air lters should be cleaned every two weeks.

Turn off the unit.

Remove the lters.

Lift the open panel.

Push the air lters up slightly to unlock them.

Pull the air lters down to remove them.

Take off the air purifying lters from the
air lters.

Clean the lters.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. If the
lters are dirty, wash them with warm water and
a mild detergent. Dry lters in the shade before
reinstalling.

Reinstall the air purifying lters.

Reinstall the lters.

Reinstall the lters in the original positions.

Close the open panel.

Push the arrow-marked of the panel rmly to
lock it in place.
CLEANING THE UNIT AND THE
REMOTE CONTROL
Wipe them with a soft cloth.
Do not directly splash or pour water on them. It can
cause electrical shock or equipment damage.
Do not use hot water, thinner, abrasive powders or
strong solvents.
