The SA-1110 Development Board requires additional GPIO output functions which are
implemented in the SA-1110 Development Board Control Register (BCR) to control the compact
flash, codec, IRDA, stereo, audio, LCD, RS232, LEDs, communication ports, charger, radio, and
speaker.
The BCR is write only–system software must maintain a shadow copy of the BCR to perform
read-modify-write functions.
