Original scale
When using the original table:
1
Confirm that there are no
originals in the SPF, and that
copying is not in progress, then
open the document cover.

Place the original face down on
the original table. Align the
original according to the
original scale in the illustration
below.
(Make sure the upper left corner
of the original is set to the
position indicated by the “ ”
mark, as shown.)

Gently close the original cover.
Note: When using the original table, do not set originals in the SPF.

Press the BOOK SEND key.
• Adjust the resolution and/or
contrast settings if desired.

Press the BOOK SEND key to
scan the page into memory. If
you have more than one sheet
to read into memory, place the
next page, and press the
BOOK SEND key to read each
page.

Continue with steps 4 and 5 in
the previous section, “Using
the SPF”.
Note: If the original is removed from the original feeder tray after a transmission
reservation is set, the reservation will be cancelled.
