Automatically turns the screen blue if a broadcast signal is not
received.

Settings and adjustments
Surround sound
Produces a virtual surround sound from the TV’s speakers.
Each time you press
SURROUND
, the mode changes in the following
order:
• Receiving signal stereo
• Receiving signal monaural
• The surround effect can be adjusted using the SOUND menu. See
23
.
• Poor reception due to weak signals and too much noise may activate BLUE BACK, despite the presence
of a broadcast signal. To continue watching TV under these conditions, switch “BLUE BACK” to “OFF”.
• When Off timer is set, the OFF TIMER setting has priority over BLUE BACK.
