The “CHILD LOCK OFF” screen
will appear.
• If other key than
MENU
is
pressed, “CHILD LOCK OFF” will
not be displayed on the screen.
If the wrong PASSWORD is
entered, “PASSWORD
INCORRECT” screen will appear
for approximately 4 seconds.
Then “PLEASE INPUT
PASSWORD” screen will appear
again. Repeat step 2 to enter the
correct PASSWORD.
While “CHILD LOCK ON” screen is
appeared.
• Clearing CHILD LOCK cannot be done via MENU.
• When CHILD LOCK is “ON”
(i) Only
on the TV set and on the remote control are functioning.
(ii) Sound is mute.
(iii) If you forget your password, please input “2398” to reset.

3 The CHILD LOCK mode setting
screen will appear as shown on
the right.
Press
/ to
select “ON” or “OFF”.
• ON : Each time the TV is turned
OFF and ON again, the CHILD
LOCK mode is activated.
To clear the CHILD LOCK mode, repeat step 2 above with
previous password.
• OFF : CHILD LOCK mode will be deactivated.
