• Due to factory setting, when the first time you press the POWER switch on the TV set, a picture appears and
the POWER indicator lights up brightly.
• The STANDBY/ON (ø) button on the remote control lets you switch between ON and Standby mode when the
main power is ON.
• If you will not be at home for a considerable length of time, as a safety precaution, turn off the main power by
pressing the POWER switch on the TV set and unplug the cord from the outlet.
! Press the POWER switch on
the TV set to turn the TV set
ON.
TV ON mode: POWER
indicator lights up brightly.
TV Standby mode: POWER
indicator lights up dimly.
@ Press the STANDBY/ON (ø)
button on the remote control or
any of the CHANNEL UP
(CH
∑) or DOWN (CH≈)
button on the TV set.
The POWER indicator changes
from dimly to brightly and a
picture appears on the screen.
