Identification:
Pipe shall be permanently and legibly marked with the manufacturer's name or
trademark, standard designations ANSI/AWWA C904 and CSA B137.5 (or PEX),
material designation, pressure rating and temperature for which the pressure
rating is valid, nominal size, production code, and intended service. Marking
shall be spaced at intervals of not more than 5 feet (1.5 m). Products shall
also bear the cUPC® certification mark.
Characteristics:
Cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) pressure pipe that is outside diameter
controlled, made in standard thermoplastic pipe dimension ratios (SDR 9), and
pressure class 160 psi (1.10 Mpa) rated for water at 73.4°F (23°C). To be
installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. and the latest
edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code.
Products listed on this certificate have been tested by an IAPMO R&T
recognized laboratory. This recognition has been granted based upon the
laboratory's compliance to the applicable requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
