ASSEMBLY YOUR ION POWER PACK BATTERY Your ION Power Pack Battery does not come fully charged. Prior to first use, charge completely. During first use, discharge fully to condition your ION Power Pack Battery. Failure to do so may cause LED indications to work incorrectly. RECYCLING THE ION POWER PACK BATTERY When your ION Power Pack Battery needs to be replaced, dispose of it or recycle it in accordance with local ordinances or regulations.

ION BOOST FLOOR Press for a timed 1-minute boost of increased suction for high-traffic areas and heavy messes. For bare floors and small area rugs. OR ION IN THE VACUUM ION POWER For everyday cleaning. To use ION BOOST mode for longer than 1-minute, you can re-press the ION BOOST button when the 1-minute period ends.
USING THE MULTIFLEX ® WAND VERSATILE CLEANING FLOOR ABOVE FLOOR MULTIFLEX ® REACH MULTIFLEX ® STORAGE Wand Release (Click) Press the Power button, then choose your Surface setting and your Suction setting. Place your foot gently on the floor nozzle and tilt the handle back. Press the Wand Release button to disconnect the handheld vacuum. Attach accessory, then press the power button. Press the MultiFLEX® Wand button to position the wand to a lower angle for ease of use under low furniture.
MAINTAINING YOUR VACUUM MAINTAINING YOUR VACUUM EMPTYING THE DUSTCUP CLEANING THE FILTERS 1 To clean filters, rinse with water only to prevent damage from cleaning chemicals. Allow all filters to air-dry for at least 24 hours before replacing them in the vacuum to prevent liquid from being drawn into electric parts. IMPORTANT: DO NOT use soap when cleaning the filters. Remove the handheld vacuum from the wand and check all intake openings to the dust cup. BRUSHROLL Open the brushroll garage by sliding back the release buttons. To close, insert the tabs on the lid into the slots on the nozzle, then press down both sides. Run scissors along the guide on the brushroll to remove any string, hair, or debris.
