2. Using a marker or pencil and tape measure, measure and mark all six hardware
locations indicated in Fig. 1. Be sure to place your mark as close to the center of
the rim of the well as possible (Fig 2). Once location marking is complete, attach
all six circular Dual-Lock Discs using the provided screws.
3. Once the circular discs are attached to the rim of your well, place your clear
plastic egress cover over the well. Ensure that your cover is centered on the
well. Use your pencil or marker to mark the location of each Dual-Lock Disc on
the clear plastic cover. Be sure to place the mark at the very center of the disc
as shown in Fig. 3. Using these marks, remove the backing from each Dual-Lock
self-adhesive pad and adhere them to the under-side of the cover. Each pad
should be placed so that it can attach to the corresponding circular disc.

CLEANING: Window well covers may be cleaned with a mild solution of soap and water. Be sure to use a
soft cloth to avoid surface scratches. Do NOT use harsh chemicals or scouring powders. For paint splatters you may
use kerosene. Be sure to thoroughly rinse the cover with water afterwards. Do not use paint thinners or solvents.
4. Once the adhesive has cured, place your cover over the well. Align each
Dual-Lock pad with its corresponding Dual-Lock disc. Firmly press down on
each location until you feel the structures interlock. Your cover can be removed
for cleaning or propped open to allow increased airflow during the warmer
months.

1. You will be installing 6 Dual-Lock Discs and Pads to
your well and cover as shown in Fig. 1. The first set of
two will be installed 8” from the foundation wall,
centered on the rim of the well. The second set of two
will be installed 30” from the foundation wall,
centered on the rim of the well. The final set will be
installed at the front, center of the well. They will be
20”apart, equally spaced 10” from the center point of
the well.
*Note: You can use the center support rib on your cover to ensure
the front set of Dual-Lock discs are spaced evenly (See Fig. 4)
