The ideal location in a vehicle is a cupholder or behind a headrest in the optional Mobile Carrying Harness (Item #55300). The unit must be used in its upright position.

If your vehicle is equipped with both a keyed and non-keyed DC adapter, it is recommended that the keyed DC adapter be used so that the unit shuts off when the ignition switch is turned off. If unit overheats (such as on a hot day without air conditioning), it will shut off automatically.

Check to see if the cord is plugged in and the unit is switched on. Check to see that outlet is working. Check fuse in DC vehicle adapter. Check the Photohydroionization™* Mobile Module and make sure it is securely snapped into place. If the lamp doesn’t work, replace with a new module.
