5. System Monitoring
Overview
Shown in Figure 5-1, the control panel is located on the left handle of the chassis front. There are
several LEDs on the control panel as well as others on the SATA drive carriers (see “SATA Drive
Carrier LEDs” on page 45) to keep you constantly informed of the overall status of the system as
well as the activity and health of specific components. There are also two buttons on the chassis
control panel. This chapter describes the buttons and LEDs.
