Replacing a System Fan

To replace a fan, perform the following steps:
1. Open the chassis while the power is running to determine which fan has failed.
Never run the server for an extended period of time with the chassis open.
2. Press the release tab on the fan and pull the fan up out of the chassis.
3. Slide the new fan into the fan housing while ensuring that the arrows on the top of the fan
(indicating air direction) point in the same direction as the arrows of the other fans.
4. Ensure the fan is working properly before replacing the chassis cover.
