Supported Storage Subsystems

YoucanmanuallyconfigureloaddistributionfromtheCLI(overridingthe
defaultloadbalancingperformedbytheserver),usingthe
sdpathcommand.
Whenmanuallyconfiguringloadbalancingusingtheusingthe
sdpath
command:
•Youcan configureapreferredserverhostportand/oraRAIDcontroller
targetportforanSD.Ifbothareset,theRAIDcontrollertargetport
preferencetakesprecedenceovertheserverhostportpreference.Whena
specifiedportpreferencecannotbesatisfied,portselectionfallsbackto
automaticselection.
•FortheSDsvisibleonthesametargetportofaRAIDcontroller,you
shouldeithersetapreferredRAIDcontrollertargetportfor
all SDsorfor
none of the SDs.SettingthepreferredRAIDcontrollertargetportforonly
someoftheSDsvisibleonanygivenRAIDcontrollertargetportmay
createasituationwhereloaddistributionissuboptimal.
The
sdpathcommandcanalsobeusedtoquerythecurrentFCpathbeing
usedtocommunicatewitheachSD.Formoreinformationonthe
sdpath
command,runthe
man sdpathcommand.
Fibre Channel
Statistics
Theserverprovidesper‐portandoverallstatistics,inrealtime,at10‐second
intervals.Historicalstatisticscovertheperiodsincepreviousserverstartor
statisticsreset.TheFibreChannelStatisticspageoftheWebManager
displaysahistogramshowingthenumberofbytes/secondreceivedand
transmittedduringthepastfew
minutes.
