Introducing the SGI 1400 Family of Servers
Chassis Configurations
The SGI 1400 server is designed to either be mounted in a rack (rack mode) or stand
upright (pedestal mode). Figure 1 shows examples of these configurations. You must
contact your salesor serviceproviderand purchase anadapter kitif youwish tochange
the configuration of your server from one mode to another after receiving the unit.
