Strata
Mirror-Optic PIRs
Effective motion detection is dependent on a unit’s ability to
differentiate between legitimate intrusions and false alarms.
The Strata mirror-optic PIR utilizes a complex arrangement of
highly reflective mirrors to transfer IR energy to its sensing
components. This technology is paired with digital signal
analysis to provide consistent detection throughout the
coverage pattern. Sensitivity can be adjusted to
accommodate normal or hostile environments.
DETECTOR FEATURES
Highly reflective, precise mirror optics transfer a greater
amount of IR energy to the sensing
components
Digital signal analysis for consistent detection
throughout the coverage pattern
Patented Multi-Level Signal Processing (MLSP) for more
accurate detection of human IR energy over a broad
range of temperatures
Sensitivity adjustment to configure the detector for
normal or hostile environments
INSTALLATION FEATURES
Swivel-mount bracket for the ultimate in location
and installation flexibility
Readily accessible screw terminals
PCB mounted to front plastic for simplified installation
Unique cover hinge allows unit to be installed
right up to the ceiling
Concealed wiring channel simplifies installation
and hides wires
Curtain mirror available (see below)
