∙ This appliance is intended for domestic or
similar applications, such as
- in shops, offi ces and other similar
working environments,
- in agricultural areas,
- by customers in hotels, motels etc. and
similar establishments,
- in bed-and breakfast type environments.
Switch positions
The appliance is equipped with a 3-position
switch allowing for the following settings:
Functions:
0 = Off
1 = Half power
2 = Full power
Fitting / removing attachments
Fitting:
Hold the appliance with the switch facing
up. Push the metal studs on the attachment
into the grip body so that they are properly
aligned with the corresponding openings in
the connecting piece. Push the attachment
in and turn the locking ring anti-clockwise
to lock.
Removing:
Always allow the attachments to cool
down before taking them off after use.
Once suffi ciently cool, turn the locking-ring
clockwise and pull the attachment off.
Operation
Make sure the appliance is used on dry hair
only.
∙ Fit the desired attachment to the
appliance.
∙ Insert the plug into a wall socket.
∙ Turn the appliance on. The indicator light
comes on.
∙ Let the curler heat up for approximately 5
minutes.
∙ The individual attachments are used as
described below.
Curling tongs
∙ Divide the hair into separate strands, grip
the end of a strand with the clamp and
curl it up to the hairline.
∙ The integrated swivel makes it easy to
use the curler in this way.
∙ Hold the hair curled up for a few seconds,
then open the clamp, hold the curl and
remove the curler gently from the hair by
turning it.
∙ Make sure the hot parts of the curler are
kept away from the scalp.
∙ Let the hair cool down suffi ciently before
brushing it out.
Round brush, spiral curler attachment
∙ The round brush is fi tted over the 16
mm curling tongs, and the spiral curler
attachment over the 25 mm curling tongs.
∙ The round brush is designed for shaping
the hair. To achieve this, the hair should
be divided into single strands (not too
thick) and then spread evenly over the
brush / spiral curler attachment, turning
them inwards or outwards as desired.
∙ Apply for a few seconds at a time only,
while allowing the hot air to take effect on
the hair. Let the strands uncurl afterwards.
∙ Let the hair cool down suffi ciently before
brushing it out.
