4. Locking the mixing bowl:
∙ Now push down on the mixer bowl lid and turn the locking knob to its ‘Closed’ position ( ).
Always ensure that the selector switch is in its ‚Off‘ position ( ) before locking the lid.
5. Fitting the lid insert:
∙ Select the appropriate lid insert and place it onto the lid opening. This prevents any food from escaping while being mixed or
cooked.
∙ The lid insert can be removed during mixing or cooking to add ingredients.
∙ Caution: During and after cooking, the lid insert may be very hot. Always use the handle or a suitable oven cloth when handling
the insert.
Tip: To enable water vapour to escape, the lid insert should not be fi tted when reducing sauces or soups.
Removing the lid:
∙ To take off the lid, fi rst turn the locking knob to its ‘Open’ position ( ).
∙ Then carefully take off the transparent lid insert.
∙ Pull the lid opener out to the front and lift off the lid.
∙ Caution: Even after the cooking process, hot vapour may escape from the mixing bowl.
