Trouble shooting
Problem Cause Remedy
Functions cannot be activated. Appliance is not plugged in. Connect appliance to mains.
Socket is defective. Check the socket with a different appliance.
No coffee comes out of the
swing-out fi lter.
The glass carafe is not properly placed
underneath the outlet.
Check that the carafe is properly positioned on the
hot-plate, pushing the outlet valve up.
The coffee is too thin. Grind level is too coarse. Select a fi ner grind level.
The
button for mild coffee has been
pressed.
Press the button for normal coffee.
Too little ground coffee was used. Increase the amount.
