Air extraction and sealing of delicate or
very moist foods:
This appliance also allows for easy and
safe vacuum-sealing of delicate foods
(eg cakes, bread) as well as foods with
a high moisture content (eg marinated
meats).
Once connected to the mains, the
standard functions NORMAL and DRY
are selected by default.
Using the MODE button, you may select
the setting SENSITIVE for sensitive
foods, or use the FOOD option to select
WET for very moist foods.
Having selected the required function,
the air-extraction and sealing process
may be started by pushing the VAC/
SEAL button.
Keep monitoring the extraction. Should
the vacuum become too strong despite
the SENSITIVE/ WET setting, interrupt
the suction process by pressing STOP,
and then start the sealing process
manually using the SEAL button.
Hint: Even liquid foods may be vacuum
sealed without problems, if they have
been deep-frozen before.
Sealing only:
Place the lled bag with its open end
onto the sealing bar. The bag opening
must be clean and free of any wrinkles
or creases.
Fold the cover down.
Push the outer corners of the cover
rmly down until it is heard locking into
place on both sides.
Press the SEAL button.
The bag opening is automatically
sealed. The SEAL button remains lit until
the sealing process is complete.
Push the ‘RELEASE’ buttons on the
side to open the cover and remove the
sealed bag.
Should any residual liquid be found
inside the sealed seam, wipe the seam
dry and let it go through another sealing
cycle. Caution: The bag opening must
be absolutely dry, to guarantee a seal
that is safe and airtight.
Disconnect the appliance from the
mains.
