Then let the appliance run through one boiling cycle using fresh cold water to clean it of any vinegar residue. - Thoroughly rinse the egg holder and wipe dry afterwards. - The lid may be wiped clean with a damp cloth. - Pierce the blunt end of each egg with the piercer; this will reduce the risk of the eggs cracking during boiling. - Place the eggs into the holder, fit the holder onto the water bowl and put the lid on.
