Before using the steam jet function, turn the steam output control to its max position. Steam will be emitted after 40-60 seconds. Now set the control to the desired position. The main indicator light (for the pump) flashes whenever the pump is working. Steam jet When the steam jet button is depressed, jets of steam are emitted through the openings in the sole plate. This function can be very useful when removing stubborn creases or when ironing difficult or thick fabrics.
