Setra Systems, Inc.
Limited Two-Year Scale Warranty
Setra Systems, Inc. warrants the scales it manufactures to be free from
defects in material and workmanship. Upon return, transportation charges
prepaid, to Setra’s factory within two (2) years of the date of
purchase, Setra will repair or replace, at its option, any scale which
it determines to contain defective material or workmanship and will
return said scale to purchaser, transportation prepaid, at any point in
the United States. Setra shall not be obligated, however, to repair or
replace scales which have been repaired by unauthorized parties, abused,
improperly installed, altered, or otherwise misused or damaged, even if
by accident, in any way. Setra will not be responsible for any
dismantling, reassembly or reinstallation charges.
Nothing in this warranty shall be construed as a warranty for
merchantability or fitness for any specific use or purpose, and this
warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. Setra
shall not be held liable under the terms of this warranty for any
special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages claimed in
connection with the scales’ performance or availability.
