Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1. Description
The SETECH™ ST-EG100-E™ advanced Ethernet Gateway provides an Ethernet network
connection to the ELK-M1 Family of Control Panels using TCP/IP protocol for configuration
programming (ElkRP2™), web services, remote access via Virtual Keypad, and Enhanced Email
Notification (EEN). Remotely access the advanced featured “Virtual Keypad” over a secure
connection (HTTPS) with any modern web browser running on a desktop or mobile device,
including iOS and Android web browsers (no additional application required). The Virtual
Keypad provides automation access to lighting and climate control, including relative humidity
and outside temperature sensors on Omnistat2. EEN provides embedded dynamic reports (Zone
Status, Zone Alarm and Area Status) to multiple email recipients using standard and encrypted
SMTP email services.
