MAINTENANCE SECTION

Gearbox

The gearbox should not require additional lubricant unless the box is cracked or a seal is leaking. It is recommended that the check

plug be removed after every 8 to 10 hours of operation and oil added until it shows proper level.

Use Rhino Multi-Purpose gear oil, P/N 00786250.

To change the oil:

• position a container under the oil drain plug.

• loosen the oil drain plug (lower part of the sump) and allow the oil to ow out completely.

• dispose of the drained oil in appropriate containers for waste oils.

• screw the previously unscrewed oil drain plug.

• loosen the ll plug and the check plug.

• use a small funnel to top-up with AGIP-ENI BLASIA 150 oil until the level is reached.

• top-up and tighten the ll plug and the check plug.

Replacing Cutter Unit Drive Belt

1. Place unit on ground or support securely.

2. Remove belt guard.

3. Unscrew the nut that secures the belt tensioner.

4. Remove old belt and install new one.

5. Tighten the nut previously loosened and properly adjust belt tension

6. Reinstall idler arm spring and belt guard.
