1 RINSE AND WASH ALL OUTSIDE SURFACES OF PUMP WITH CLEAN, WARM SOAPY WATER.
2 FLUSH AND RINSE INSIDE OF PUMP
• Mix2oz(5mL)ofdishwashingdetergentwith1qt.(.95L)oftapwater(110ºF/43ºC).
Placelowerendofpumpintomixtureandoperatepumpuntilentirecontentsof
solutionispumpedthrough.
• Pump2c(.5L)oftapwater(110ºF/43ºC)throughpump.
• Mixone1oz(30mL)packetofKAY-5Sanitizer/Cleaner(EPAREGNO5389-15)with
2½gal(9.5L)oftapwater(roomtemperature).Thenoperatepumpuntil1qt.(.95L)
ofsanitizersolutionispumpedthrough.
• Rinseinsideofpumpbyoperatingthepumpuntil1c(.24L)oftapwater(110ºF/43ºC)
ispumpedthrough.
Cleanpumpbeforefirstuseandafterusedaily.
StainlesssteelpartsCANcorrode.Itisimportanttocleanrinse,sanitizeanddryallpartsdaily
andproperlytopreventcorrosion.
Failuretocomplywithanyof theseinstructionsmayvoidunitwarranty.
• Donotuseabrasivecleansers,scrapers,steelpads,steelwool,
orothercleaningtoolsthatcanscratchanypolishedsurfaces.
• Donotusecleansingagentswithhighconcentrationsofacid,alkaline,orchlorine.

Thenremovepumpfromcontainerofwatertodisassemble.
2 DISASSEMBLE PUMP.
3 WASH AND SCRUB ALL PARTS IN CLEAN, WARM SOAPY WATER.Washsmallpartsinapanorother
containertopreventpartloss.
4 USE SUPPLIED BRUSHES TO CLEAN ALL CONFINED AREAS.Maintainacleanandefficientpumpby
usingbrushes,suppliedwithpumptopreventproductbuildupinsidepump.
5 IMPORTANT PUMP AREAS TO CLEAN.
• Usebrush82049tocleaninsidecylinderthoroughly.
• Usebrush82526tocleaninsidedischargetube,valvebody,optionalorificedplug
andoptionalsuctiontubethoroughly.
6 FULLYRINSEALLPARTSwithclearwater.
• Abrasivecleansingagentscancorrodestainlesssteel.Fullyrinsingallpartscan
preventcorrosion.
7 SANITIZE PARTS FOLLOWING LOCAL SANITIZATION REQUIREMENTS.
• Allpartsincontactwithfoodmustbesanitized.
8 ALLOW PARTS TO FULLY AIR DRY AFTER SANITIZATION.
•Variouselementsandminerals,suchaschloridesintapwatercanaccumulateonstainless
steelpartsandcreatecorrosion.Topreventcorrosiononanystainlesssteelparts,itis
importanttofullyairdry,asrequiredaftersanitization,ortofullydrywithacleansoftcloth
regularly.
Stainlesssteelisthepreferredmaterialforfoodservingandstoragebutmanyproductscancorrodeit.
Ifcorrosionbeginsonanystainlesssteelsurfacechangecleansingagent,sanitizingagentorcleaning
procedures.
