2.2 Auxiliary Heater – Electric Heating Element
The auxiliary heater – an electric heating element fitted on the supply line – has thr ee capacity steps:
Step 1 = 3 kW
Step 2 = 6 kW
Step 3 = 9 kW
2.3 W ater Heater
AWA-SS series comes with a built-in water heater holding 150 or 200 litr es. The temperatur e of the water sent to
the water heater is contr olled by the r egulating pr essur e switch and cannot be adjusted. W arm water pr oduction is
stopped when the r egulating pr essur e switch r eaches its operating pr essur e, which corr esponds to about 50-55°C warm
water temperature. At r egular intervals the water in the water heater will be heated to as much as 65°C as a pr eventive
measur e against bacteria. The pr eset interval is 14 days. For mor e information, please r efer to ”W arm W ater Pr oduction”

The heat
pump has two separate liquid circuits
Refrigerant circui t
– cir culating inside the heat pump. Thr ough evaporation, compr ession and condensation it
absorbs ener gy fr om the outdoor unit and r ele ases it to the heat carrier . The r efrigerant is chlorine-fr ee.
Heating circuit
– water transporting heat ener gy to the heating system (radia tors/floor coils) and the water
heater .
