4. With Require activation checked, an activation link will be emailed to the
user along with an auto-generated password. When unchecked, only an
auto-generated password will be emailed.
5. To assign to a group, select the group from the Group drop-down list,
then add the selected user from the Users box to the Group box by
clicking the Add button (if adding all users, click Add All). The user will
now belong to the user group. To remove, use the Remove (or Remove
All) buttons from the group.
To import a user list from a text file:
1. Follow the above procedure but from the Add New User section at the
bottom of the dialog, click the Browse... button to locate an existing text
file which contains comma-delimited username/password combinations.
Select the file and click Open.
2. Click the Import button to populate the Users left-hand pane (in User
Group Management) with the file's contents.
To import a user list from a mailing list:
1. Select a mailing list Smart object, right-click and select Manage....
2. To synchronize, click the Sync To Access Control button.
3. From the dialog, pick a named Access Control Smart object from the
drop-down list and click Proceed.... The stored email addresses are
copied to this Smart object.
To delete a user:
1. With your Access Control Smart object selected, click the object's
Manage... button.
2. From the bottom of the dialog, select a user for deletion from the Email
drop-down menu.
3. Click Delete User.
To suspend a user:
• As for deletion of a user (above), but click the Suspend User button
instead of the Delete User button. Use the Unsuspend User button to
make the user login active again.
