The subject of access control can be a little daunting so the following
illustration helps to show the relationships between users, Web pages, user
lists, and user groups.
Advanced access control is carried out via Serif Web Resources by using a
Smart object, called Access Control, which can be created to manage user
groups and users, and to optionally insert a user login onto your page for user
sign in (after self-registration sign up).
As a brief reminder, Serif Web Resources is a secure online service hosted by
Serif that securely stores adopted Smart objects (see p.
306) and any generated
data. You can manage your Access Control Smart object, as any other Smart
