5. If you're outputting an alpha-edged bitmap, you
can refine the area to be kept/discarded within Cutout Studio
(only after previewing) with Erase and Restore touch-up tools.
Vector-cropped images can be cropped using standard
PagePlus crop tools outside of the Studio.
6. Click
OK to create your cutout.
You'll see your image in your publication in its original location, but
with the selected areas cut away (made transparent).
Adjustments and effects
For any selected picture, the Picture context toolbar is displayed to offer
various commonly used photo editing tools.
The PhotoLab and Cutout Studio options offer Studio-based multiple
adjustment/effect management and background/foreground removal,
respectively. The Edit in PhotoPlus option lets you edit your picture in
Serif's PhotoPlus photo-editing program.
Simple adjustments
The above toolbar also lets you remove the red-eye effect and fine-tune
brightness, contrast, and levels.
To remove red eye:
• Zoom into the subject's eyes, click
Remove Red Eye, then
click the cursor over the red eye.
