9. ANSWERING A CALL
1. Press key when phone
rings.
2. (Press again to engage
speakerphone if need).
3. Press key to end the call.
10. SPEAKERPHONE
1. Press key twice to turn on
the speaker.
2. Press key again to toggle
back to handset receiver.
11. MAKING A CALL
1. Enter phone number and
conrm on display.
2. Press key to go on-line and
dial.
3. (Press again to engage
speakerphone if need).
4. Press key to end the call.
12. CALL WAITING
You must subscribe to Call
Waiting service from your local
phone company in order to enjoy
this convenience.
1. While on a call and there is a
new call coming in, you will
hear a short beep tone in your
receiver signies a new call is
waiting.
2. Press the key once and it
will switch you to the second
party and place the rst party
on hold.
3. If you want to go back to the
rst party, press the key
again.
13. HANDSET MUTE
1. While on a call, press to
mute the handset for privacy.
2. Press again to un-mute.
14. VOLUME CONTROL (RECEIVER
AND SPEAKERPHONE)
While on a call, press key
on the handset (side) to change
volume setting. Volume setting
is indicated as VL1 to VL5 on
screen.
15. AMPLIFY FUNCTION
1. While on a call, press
key to add an extra level of
amplication (35 dB) to the
receiver volume. This is
indicated by an illuminated
button. Digital tone control
becomes active in this mode.
Please use Tone/Up and Tone/
Down keys to adjust for best
voice clarity.
2. Press key again to disable
the extra lever of amplication
(35 dB). Tone control
becomes inactive when
function is off.
16. AUTOMATIC & TALKING
FUNCTION SWITCHES
The function can be set to ON
automatically each time the phone
is being used. This automatic
ON setting is best suited if
there are only hard-of-hearing
users on this phone.
