(PHONE-BOOK)

Screen displays “LIST”. Press
key a few times to display
“MEM STATUS”.
3. Press key to conrm.
Screen displays memory
status as (xxx / 150).
4. Where 150 is the maximum
number of entries and xxx
represents the actual entries.
5. Press to end.
TELEPHONE ANSWERING MACHINE
(TAM) BASIC INFORMATION
There are approximately 22
minutes of total recording time.
The maximum length of each
message or memo is limited to
3 minutes, and the maximum
number of recorded messages
is 50. The answering machine is
ready to use with the following
default settings:
1. English is the default voice
prompt.
2. Greeting message (OGM
1): “Your call can not be
answered at the moment.
Please leave a message after
the tone”.
3. Answers all incoming calls on
the 4th ring.
4. No time stamping on new
messages unless you have
subscribed to phone company
CID service or you have set
the date / time function.
5. Remote Code (password) for
remote message retrieval is “0
0 0 0”.
6. The following display
characters (or messages) are
used by TAM:
• CA=Call(newcallringing)
• An=Answering(TAMis
answering)
• rE=Recording(recording
a memo or OGM)
• SP=Speaker
(speakerphone mode)

27. ANSWER MACHINE ON/OFF
1. Press
Answer On/Off
key to choose
between answer machine On
or Off. It will announce
“Answer On” or “Answer
OFF”.
2. If the machine is off, a “- -“
will be shown on the digital
display.
3. If the machine is on, the digital
display shows “0 0 “ or the
number of message received.
(A ashing display indicates
the number of new messages
received; a non-ashing
display indicates the number
of saved messages.)
28. SELECTING A FACTORY OUT-
GOING MESSAGE (OGM)
Two factory OGMs are provided
for greeting. The user can
select either OGM 1 or OGM 2
as greeting message. (Factory
default is OGM 1.)
OGM 1: “Your call can not be
