ASSEMBLING THE ELECTRIC BRUSHCUTTER
Assembly
STEP 1. Installing the handle. Remove the retaining bolt from the
handle. Place the handle onthe boom and fix it with the retaining
bolt(Fig. 2, page 34).
STEP 2. Loosenclampoftheboomcoupler,theninsertthelowerboom
partintothecoupleruntilitclicks,whileholdingtheboomwiththe
fixingholefacingupwards.Pullthelowerboomparttomakesurethat
thelatchontheboomcouplerisengagedintothefixinghole.Itshall
be possible to disengage properly assembled boom only by
pressingthelatch(Fig. 3, page 34).
STEP 3. Tighten the plastic clamp until it reaches the stop. Do not
useexcessiveforceasitmaydamagethelockingmechanism.
STEP 4. Mount the plastic safety guard onto the lower boom
part. Additionally attach the metal mounting plate to the
gearbox.
STEP 5. Take the shoulder strap and attach the carabiner to
theattachmentpointonthemainBrushcutterboom.Adjustthestrap
and position of the Brushcutter handles for your personal
convenienceinoperation.
Using trimmer spool with line
STEP 1.Slidetheprotectiveflangeontothesplinedgearboxshaftso
that cutoffs in the gearbox body and in the flange match each
other(Fig. 35, page 40).
