TEST PROCEDURES
ECLIPSE PURITY AND FLOW RATE TEST PROCEDURE PREFERRED
METHOD
It is recommended that the Eclipse be tested for oxygen concentration and ow performance. The SeQual recommended
test setup is shown on the following diagram. Oxygen monitors may or may not have an internal pump to draw samples of
oxygen to be measured. Placement of the oxygen monitor in the test setup depends whether they have an internal pump.
Only one oxygen monitor is needed. An oxygen monitor such as Salter Labs’ PRO

®
or equivalent may be used.
• Connect the circuit per the diagram shown below.
• Turn the concentrator on and set the target ow on the Eclipse to 3 LPM continuous ow.
• Allow the Eclipse to stabilize (can take up to 10 minutes).
• Verify the O

concentration and O

ow rate are within specication (shown in Table 1).

NOTE:
Some sensing equipment may restrict the actual ow rate and provide inaccurate concentration read-
ings. If testing is performed with the oxygen monitor in the alternate location pictured above, ensure
that the oxygen monitor does not signicantly restrict oxygen ow.
