AKR-301 Full Manual V.1.5 GENERAL SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS This AKR-301 is manufactured to meet international safety standards. Review the following safety precautions to avoid injury and prevent damage to the AKR-301 or any products connected to it. 1. Use a correct power source. Do not connect this product to a power source that supplies more than the specified voltage (DC12V), as this will cause damage to the unit. 2. AKR-301 Full Manual V.1.5 Chapter 2: Getting To Know Your AKR-301 ▶ AKR-301 ①② ⑤ ③ ⑩ ⑥ ④ ⑨ ⑪ ⑧ ⑦ This chapter briefly describes the functions of each connection and LED on AKR-301. For more details on the set-up and operation of AKR-301, refer to Chapter 6, AKR-301 MENU. 1 Recording LED This light indicates while AKR-301 is recording. 2 Power LED This light indicates when the AKR-301 is powered up. 3 AV-OUT Connect AV-OUT connector 4 Power Connect 12V power supply.

AKR-301 Full Manual V.1.5 Chapter 4: Getting Started OVERVIEW ON SET-UP PROCEDURES Below is an overview of the installation steps required get your AKR-301 unit working. Each step is explained in detail in Chapter 5 - Hardware Installation. (1) Insert a SD MEMORY. (2) Connect the AKR-301 to a TV set or monitor by using AV-OUT cable. (3) Connect the power. (4) Turn the power on. (5) Start TV Monitoring and recording. General Operating Advice: ● Make sure that a SD Memory card is inserted.

AKR-301 Full Manual V.1.5 Chapter 5: Hardware Installation SD MEMORY INSTALLATION ① Format SD Memory Most SD cards are pre-formatted to FAT32. If not, insert the card into the SD card slot on your PC and format it there. ※ In case there is no card slot on your PC, use and external card reading device. ② Insert SD Memory into SD slot on AKR-301 After formatting, take the SD Memory card from your PC and insert it into SD slot on AKR-301.

AKR-301 Full Manual V.1.5 Chapter 6: AKR-301 Menu 1. ACCESS TO OSD MENU AKR-301 1.x **** Press ‘MENU’ button on the remote control to access the AKR-301 OSD menu. Please refer to ‘Chapter 3: Remote control’ on how to use remote control buttons. Default password is ‘0000’. To change the password; go to ‘[SUB MENU]Æ[PASSWORD CHANGE]’. Use the up/down arrows on the remote control to adjust the numerical settings. 2. MAIN MENU NO In the main menu, the ‘indicator ‘>’ will be shown on the left of each menu.

On setting the current time, the field order should be as follows; 2004/02/17 = year/month/day 19:44:32 = hour/minute/second 3.1 DAY LIGHT SAVING SELECT ‘ON” when you want to use day light saving time. EVENT SETUP ON HIGH ON TIME 5.1 MOTION DETECTION 5.1.1 MOTION (ON / OFF): Select ‘ON” if you want to use motion detection. 5.1.2 SENSITIVIITY (LOW / NORMAL / HIGH): You can select the degree of sensitivity of motion detection. Set to HIGH for greater sensitivity to small movements. 5.1.3. MARK DISPLAY (ON / OFF): Select ‘ON’ if you want “Motion” to display on the monitor. 5.2 SCHEDULE SETUP Schedule the recording time on this menu. Up to 4 schedules can be set.

The following screen will appear: 6.1 PASSWORD CHANGE: The Factory Default Password is 0000. To enter this number, press the UP/DOWN button on the remote controller. Once you input the your current password, set a new six digit password using the numbered buttons UP,REW,DOWN,FF on the remote controller.
