Configuring the DVR

Delay-On Time Delay-On Time determines when the
system will start up. For example, if
Delay-On is set to 0, the system will
start up as soon as the vehicle ignition is
turned on. If Delay-On is set to 30
SEC,
the system will not power up for the first
30 seconds. After power up, the DVR
may take up to 20 seconds to start
recording as it performs a thorough self-
test.
The Delay-On option uses Smart-Start™
which protects the DVR from transients
and voltage swings during vehicle
startup.
