4.5.2. Using the ONE-TOUCH Download option
Using the USB port, you have the option to download specific information to a USB
drive.
To use the O
NE-TOUCH download option:
1. In the System menu, select the
ONE-TOUCH DOWNLOAD option. See “3.2.10.
Using the System Menu” on page 3–24.
2. Insert a
USB drive into the USB port on the front panel of the DVR.
3. If the DVR is powered off, press the
POWER button for 3 seconds to power up
the DVR.
The red LED on the
MODE button or FULL button illuminates.
OR
4. If the DVR is powered up and recording, press the
STOP button and wait until
the red LED on the
REC button is not illuminated.
ONE-TOUCH DOWNLOAD does not work while the DVR is recording.
5. Press the
ENTER/ONE-TOUCH/8 button.
The DVR downloads the appropriate information to the
USB thumb drive and
the red LED in the
ENTER/ONE-TOUCH/8 button flashes. When the operation
is completed successfully, the red LED turns off.
6. Remove the
USB drive and power the DVR off by pressing the POWER button
for 3 seconds.
OR
7. Press the
REC button to return to recording.
4.5.3. Using the Search function
The EX4 Plus 35 DVR includes a powerful search function that let you quickly
find recorded information by event or by time/date.
To view the Search menu:
1. If the DVR is recording, press the
STOP button on the front panel of the DVR
to stop recording.
2. Press the
SEARCH button.
The Search menu appears as shown in Figure 4-2.
Important:
The red LED on the ENTER/ONE-TOUCH/8 illuminates if there is an error,
such as a bad
USB drive or if the USB drive is full.
