6. Repeat these steps to set the Alarm Input, Alarm Duration, Camera Speed and
Quality. See Table 3-9 and Table 3-10.

ALARM INPUT Alarm input option refers to the type of
contact closure required to activate an
alarm. All of the alarm inputs are
activated by a change reference to signal
ground.
N.O. (normally open) would
activate an alarm when
connected to ground.
N.C. (normally closed) would

ground and then opened to
trigger an alarm.

ALARM DURATION The alarm duration time is the length of
time after an alarm has been received that
the video is recorded at the alarm speed
and quality. The alarm duration is also
used as a data pointer for data access.
