To install the Smart-Reach:
1. Use the four #10 × ¾ sheet metal screws or the #10 × ¾ self drilling screws
and #10 external lock washers to secure the Smart-Reach to the surface.
2.3.5. Step 5: Connecting to the Smart-Reach Front Panel
The Smart-Reach front panel provides the following connections and indicator
light, as shown in Figure 2-5.

1 ETHERNET The ETHERNET RJ-45 connector is used to connect to the DVR.

POWER The POWER indicator (green) illuminates when the Smart-Reach
is powered on.

CTRL The 2-pin control connector is for connecting the Smart-Reach-
to-DVR control harness.

to the electrical panel of the vehicle.
