• System Requirements
- MAC OS X 10.4.7 - 10.4.9
- 256MB RAM or more as required
by operating system
- Internet connection for software
updates
• Browse to and double-click the Mac
Maxtor Installer fi le located on the
hard drive.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to
copy the installer to your Macintosh
Desktop, prepare the drive with an
HFS+ partition and install the Maxtor
Manager software.
Highly recommended: Copy all
fi les on the Hard Drive to your local
computer hard drive.
