Tethering Cable
Using Personal Codes
A
Enter either personal code, then press “ ” or “#”
to confirm. Safe beeps twice and indicator light
flashes green.

Turn the knob counterclockwise to the unlock position.

Lift up on the outer edge of the lid to open.
NOTE: • After 5 seconds, the lock automatically resets to the readiness mode.
• When an incorrect code is pressed, the light flashes red three times. If the wrong code
is entered three consecutive times, the lock will automatically be locked for 20 seconds.
• If the wrong code is entered six consecutive times, the lock will remain locked for 5
minutes.
• When the lock power fails due to dead batteries, the codes will be preserved for
approximately 3 hours, after that time, the pass codes will be lost and will need to
be reset.
• If light flashes orange when any key is pressed and held, batteries are low and need to
be replaced in order for the unit to function properly.
Opening your security box using personal codes
NOTE: Tethering cable is only included in P008E and PL048E units.

Open safe.
B
Put the end of the cable (non-loop end) in the hole on the
left side of the safe (back corner).
C
Lock the cable in place by pushing down on the clamp.
D
Close lid and lock safe.
