Getting Started
NOTE: • Store code and keys in a secure location (other than in the safe).
• SentrySafe offers a secure on-line location for the entry and retrieval of your code.
Go to www.registermysafe.com and register your safe.
NOTE: Locate the override keys stored in the bag attached to the front of your unit.
A
Remove cover from key lock.
B
Insert override key into key lock, turn the key
counterclockwise, one quarter turn to the
unlocked position.
C
Turn latch knob to the unlocked position.
D
To open, lift from the outer edge of the lid.
E
With the unit open, turn the key back to locked position,
remove key and store in a safe place.
F
Add lock cover.
NOTE: Override key can only be removed from the locked position.
A
Slide the cover off the battery compartment.
B
Properly insert batteries and replace cover.
NOTE: • When the lock power fails due to dead batteries, the codes will be preserved for
approximately 3 hours, after that time, the pass codes will be lost and will need to
be reset.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of non alkaline battery.
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline and standard batteries.

Using Personal Codes
To set the first code:
A
Press the red code setting button, on the inside of the lid
(the light will turn green and two beeps are heard).
B
Input a code of 1-8 digits using the 0-9 keys.
C
Press either “ ” or “#” to confirm/save the code, the light
will flash green once and two beeps are heard, indicating
the first code has been saved.
To set the second code:
A
Press “0” two times.
B
Press red code setting button, the light turns green and
three beeps are heard.
C
Input a code of 1-8 digits using the keys 0-9.
D
Press either “ ” or “#” to confirm/save the code, the light
will flash green once and two beeps are heard, indicating
the second code has been saved.
NOTE: • To change your personal code, repeat the steps for setting the first personal code.
• Buttons 0-9 are used with the user codes. When buttons are pressed the green light
flashes. If no keys are pressed for 20 seconds, the lock automatically resets to the
readiness mode, which requires the pass code to be re-entered.
