2.9.4 Compact Size for Space Efficiency
The M10/M5 packs tremendous port density into a small form-factor.
Measuring only 5.25 inches in height, the M10/M5 supports up to 8 PIC slots.
All components plug into a passive midplane. The M10/M5 physical
dimensions are provided below :

2.9.5 Power Supplies
The M10/M5 supports two redundant, load sharing power supplies. Both AC
and DC power are supported. In normal operation, the two power supplies
share the load between them. Should one of the supplies fail, the second
supply is capable of carrying the entire power load without interruption of the
operation of the router. A M10/M5 power supply can be inserted or removed
without powering down the other supply. The maximum power consumption
of a M10 is 440 W. Maximum power consumption of a M5 is 340 W. The
table below contains AC and DC power supply current and voltage ranges.
