Specifications

Originally stood for “all glass.” The automotive industry uses the “AG” prefix (AGA, AGC, AGW) for
most glass fuses. They vary in length, diameter and amperage rating. AGC fuses available in 1, 3, 5,
7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25 & 30amps, & AGW fuse in 15amp.
AG FUSES
SFE FUSES
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM COMPONENTS
Glass fuses designed to specifications set by the Society of Fuse Engineers. All are 1/4 inch in diame-
ter, but vary in length according to the ampere rating to ensure accurate fuse replacement. Both AG
and SFE fuse were designed into North
American vehicles prior to 1981. SFE fuses available in 7.5, 9,
14, 20 & 30amps.
GBC FUSES
BLADE FUSES
A ceramic type, torpedo shaped fuse that can be currently found in many European cars. Consisting
of a heat resistant body, the fuse element stretches over the exterior of the body from end to end. The
body varies in length and color to ensure proper replacement. GBC fuses available in 8 & 16 amps.
Designed and patented by Littelfuse, blade fuses are available in three basic styles.
-ATO® (Autofuse®) Blade Fuse. Introduced in 1977, this fuse became the interna-
tional fuse standard by 1981. It is currently found on almost all cars, trucks, buses, and off
the road vehicles worldwide. Manufactured in colors to indicate amp rating. Available in 3,
4, 5, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 & 40 amps.
-MINI® Blade Fuse. Meeting the design needs to protect a greater number of circuits
without utilizing more space, this fuse provides reliable vehicle circuit protection in a new
compact, miniature size. Manufactured in colors to indicate amp rating.
A
vailable in 2, 3, 4,
5, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, & 40 amps.
-MAXI
Blade Fuse.
Replaces the commonly used fusible wire or fusible link to pro
-
tect a high current segment or system of the wiring harness. Manufactured in colors to indi-
cate amp rating. Available in 20, 30, 40, 50, & 60 amps.
MAXI™ Blade Fuse. Replaces the commonly used fusible wire or fusible link to pro-
tect a high current segment or system of the wiring harness. Manufactured in colors to indi
-
cate amp rating. Available in 20, 30, 40, 50, & 60 amps.
P
AL
Bolt-On Fuse.
An alternative to the MAXI
TM
fuse in current ratings up to 120
amperes. Commonly found on many Japanese built vehicles.
