8200 Series Surface Vertical Rod Exit Devices
8200 Series surface vertical rod device is 36” and fits 3’0 door. Doors constructed
without sufficient clear internal space to permit a concealed vertical rod device of-
fering clean, unobtrusive sight lines. Steel rods are housed within metal runners,
while top and bottom bolt assemblies are shielded by cast housings which are in
turn hidden by smoothly contoured covers.

8600 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Devices
8600 Series concealed vertical rod device, 36” standard length device fits 3’0 door.
For metal stile glass doors. Provides life safety and security by use of a rotating top
bolt and post type header strike. Action of the top bolt deadlocks the bottom bolt
as well. Bottom bolt is hardened steel, with a conical tip to center in the simple
drilled strike hole required to the threshold.

Designed to operate 4700 Series latches by a natural downward hand movement,
prevents snagging. These handles incorporate an activator cam disc that mounts
on the handle escutcheon and fits solidly into the cylinder hole of the latch.

Adams Rite Manufacturing is introducing an updated version of their popular 4590
paddle
. This all new model incorporates an ergonomic design, dogging feature, a
field installable monitor switch (91-0914) and is field changeable for function and
hand. This unit can replace 4590 applications except variations where used with a
4700 latch lock that has a 7/8" backset.

4593 Latch Pull
The 4593 offers ease of use and greater flexibility for narrow,
medium and wide stile aluminum doors with Adams Rite
4500/4700 Deadlatches and 8400 Exit Device latches. It is
ideal for applications that require free access during the day
and controlled access after hours. A simple pull of the handle
unlatches the door. Handle is spring-loaded to return to cen-
ter. Requires use of key after each activation or can be set to
stay latched but unlocked. Handle stays free-swinging in ei-
ther mode. Only two bolts are needed to install. Housing
measures approximately 10" x 3" x 2-1/4" deep.
